Two weeks left until the playoffs. The top teams are holding their ground. Tough to move clubs when they keep on winning.
But one speedy club from Cambridge is making a statement.
1. WCI (-): Credit the Vikings for staying strong. It would be easy to mail it in when you're this good. Should be a classic against KCI Oct. 30.
2. KCI (-): The Raiders still haven't lost. Do they have what it takes to take down the top seed? We'll find out soon.
3. St. Mary's (-): The Eagles own D8. I'm interested to see how they do in out of conference play.
4. Sir John A. Macdonald (-): Just one loss for the Highlanders but they play KCI this week. A big test.
5. Elmira (-): The Lancers bounce back with two wins after losing their first game of the year just over a week ago.
6. Galt (+4): Maybe it's a Halloween thing, but the Ghosts are heating up. Make it three wins in a row for GCI including two big ones this past week vs. WO and Southwood.
7. Southwood (-1): Offence has been an issue. The team has only surpassed 40 points three times this season.
8. St. David (-): A bye week for the Celtics means they stay put.
9. Grand River (-2): Facing WCI and KCI in the same week meant two straight losses for the Rens.
10. Waterloo-Oxford (-1): Barely hanging on in the top ten. Just got by Cameron and lost to Galt.
